In May 2024, Jonas Van Put was announced as the winner of the design competition organized by Knack Weekend in collaboration with Serax.

"When I buy fruit, I feel the urge to display it, not just to observe how it ripens, but to appreciate the interplay of colors and shapes. While we often place fruit in a round or oval bowl, I found it intriguing to present it in a straight line. That idea led me to explore how this could be materialized in steel. The simplicity of an L-profile seemed ideal for supporting the natural roundness of fruit.

This tray allows for a playful, linear arrangement of fruit pieces—turning everyday produce into a dynamic composition. The two L-shaped edges also function as subtle handles, making it easy to move the tray around."
